Dear friends,
We are getting close now to our congress and the AGM. The number of
participants at the Congress is now 1,350 people!
Therefore:
1) Reception and badges for patients will be in front of the rooms
reserved for FESCA and Patients, in the Congress Hall, at our own
registration desk, not with all doctors. Follow signs to PATIENT
CONGRESS.
2) Lunch will be served for the Patients Congress separately on the
first floor; the cafe/bar is always open so we can use this freely for
our coffee breaks and any other time; these refreshments are free of
charge.
3) Coats etc. can also be left nearby our meeting rooms, instead of at
the main entrance.
4) The number of registered patients is now 114, but this may
increase. Our meeting rooms A and B contain 80 and 60 seats, and I
remind you that in the morning there are 2 different programs and
everyone will choose on a first-come, first-serve basis. In the
afternoon there is only one program and if there are more than 80
people, these delegates will participate from Room B where a monitor
will be installed.
5) I have sent synopses of all but one of the presentations to you all
to translate and make copies for those from your country.
6) A Patient Congress Programme is being printed by AIM for all participants.
7) A Questionnaire and Speaker Biography pages are being provided by
FESCA to all participants.
8) Tickets for those registered for the Patient Dinner on 12 February
will be handed out at our own FESCA Registration desk by Nadine. If
you cannot use your ticket after all, please return it to Nadine as we
have a Waiting List.
9) Information on the Sightseeing Tour kindly sponsored by ASSMaF will
be available at the FESCA desk.
Please give this information to the patients who are attending from
your countries. Please also print it out for your own information.
Looking forward to seeing you and making this a wonderful and valuable
day for all!
